Cris-Tim, leader on the Romanian cold cuts market, launches Vitality, the first Romanian brand of cold cuts without additives and artificial coloring. Vitality was born from Cris-Tim Group's desire to offer its customers safe and healthy products. This was possible thanks to investments in research and technology , which, only in the last three years, amounted to over EUR 24 million.
At the beginning of this year, Cris-Tim revolutionized the food safety industry by investing EUR 4 million in High Pressure Processing (HPP) Technology, a next-generation food protection system which uses a 100% natural and non-invasive method, in order to maintain products fresh and savory and to help improve their quality. This technology consists in immersing already packaged and labeled products in cold water, at a high level of hydrostatic pressure (6000 bar). This kills bacteria, preserves the meat and doesn't affect the nutritional value and the organoleptic properties of the products. This new technology, which is already used at an International level, made it possible for Cris-Tim to launch Vitality, the first Romanian brand of additive free cold cuts. <

Vitality includes 5 types of products: bacon, turkey ham, fillet, half smoked sausages and salami. They can be easily spotted thanks to the innovative packaging. The packaging of each product is designed as a book, which is a part of a collection. The books mentions the product's benefits: no additives and no preservatives.
